The 120th edition of the Civil War will be played Saturday in Corvallis.

Fri., Nov. 25
ARIZONA STATE at ARIZONA

The Territorial Cup is a true pick ‘em with both desert schools decimated by injury. The Wildcats avoid the “oohfer” with a 28-25 win at home.

WASHINGTON at WASHINGTON STATE

For the northern division title… and either USC or Colorado in the championship game. Washington by a field goal, 34-31.

Sat., Nov. 26
UCLA at CALIFORNIA

Identical records – 4-7 on the year and 2-6 in conference. Possible – if unlikely – bowl invitation to the winner. That’s Cal… 37-24

UTAH at COLORADO

Oregon’s win kayoed the Utes as far as the southern title is concerned. The Buffs win, they play the winner of the Apple Cup. If not, it has been a remarkable turnaround in Boulder nonetheless. Why not? Colorado 35-28.

OREGON AT OREGON STATE

Each team coming off a win and a lot of the future at stake for both. Ducks 38-23.

Rice at STANFORD

A shaky start to the season on the Farm but the Cardinal will head to a decent bowl destination with a six-game win streak in hand. Stanford 33-10.

Notre Dame at USC

Should Colorado falter, the Trojans are poised to claim the south. Backing into the title while falling to the Irish would be very bad form. Not to worry, USC 41-13.
