Duck Women Take Second, Men Fourth in Pac-12 Championships

The defending national champion Oregon women cross country team finished second while the Oregon men claimed fourth place in the 2017 Pac-12 cross country championships Friday at Springfield Country Club.

Sophomore Katie Rainsberger – who set a new record on the 6K course last month in the Bill Dellinger Invitational – was Oregon’s top finisher, nabbing second place with a time of 15:57.3.

On the men’s side Coooper Teare was the Ducks top finisher, completing the 8k course in 23:59.4, good for eighth in the individual standings.

Next up for the Ducks will be two weeks of training ahead of the NCAA Regional meet in Seattle on November 10th. The national meet will be held November 18th in Louisville, Kentucky.
